Sara`s Diner Crystal River in Crystal River

Ate here for the first time today, service was fast and food was great. Seems their cook isn’t very nice though. Watched him give the waitress a hard time and honestly it was out of her control and he just wanted to complain. Having people like him around makes for a bad work environment.

Wow! This place is great! Service was fast and friendly. We did not wait to be seated and had a friendly server. The menu had many options/selections and the prices were amazing. We ordered shortly after being seated, our food was made fresh and served quickly. I will definitely come back here the next time I'm in the area, it's an awesome place!

America Diner at its best, very friendly service and delicious breakfast

This is my second visit to Sara's, first time for lunch and this time for breakfast. They have a decent menu (see my pictures of it), the food is good enough, wait staff are friendly, and they have free off street parking. Indoor dining only. They accept cash and major credit cards.

Always love the mom and pop places and this didn't disappoint. Can't wait to go through and grab a dinner bite.

We unexpectedly found this place as we were traveling through Crystal River. When we walked in the place, it felt like you were meeting old friends from a special time and place! The atmosphere was very nostalgic and the food was so good, fresh and flavorful! We will be back when we travel back here!

this was a nice little diner we were in town passing through Bridget was our waitress and she was very great at her job the food was delicious and not too expensive and the biscuits are huge with a capital H. Thanks <3

We stopped in for lunch. Nice crowd. The turkey club was good. So was my wife's Reuben. Fries are not deep fried. They are oven prepared. First time here. I might return for breakfast someday. The breakfasts look good.

What every diner wishes it was. Personable, Friendly and complete service. Every meal made to order as if you were visiting a friend's house. Be prepared to wait for your turn, the the wait was worth it. A new favorite spot if you're near Crystal River Florida.

It's okay. The food was served cold by a very well meaning waitress. If we had been able to flag her down, we would have asked for a replacement meal, but she was assigned so many tables on a busy Saturday morning, we couldn't attract her attention. She apologized when she finally came over to ask how things were.

Good food good prices and a friendly staff

Was very busy. Had breakfast with hubby. Home fries came out ice cold then had to wait for the toast. Waitress was nice but they were just super busy. Not my first time there with less than satisfactory results. Not sure we will go back.

We ate here a few times on our first trip to the area. We returned this year and headed straight to Sara's..they did not disappoint.Tasty high quality food at a reasonable price. Helen and Tammy made our day..... Going back soon.

Nice family diner serving a good breakfast and lunch menu. Pancakes are huge, and the burgers are great. Their sweet tea is good, but the coffee isn't. Lots of locals dine there regularly.

Home cooking. Had a tasty overstuffed club sandwiche. Service was great. I would go back to try other choices.

Went on a Friday just after 12 pm.Wasn't particular busy. That should have been the red flag. Ordered "Sara's special" the hash browns were barely cooked and very oily. Asked for over easy eggs and they were over hard. The sausage had a tough skin. The biscuit was the best part.The staff were all friendly and super nice.Guess the cook was having a bad day?

This is our favorite breakfast place in the Crystal River area. The food is very good and the bisquits are fluffy and huge.The waitress provided me with a to go box so I can have my bisquit for tomorrow's breakfast. I liked it that they serve the bisquits with real butter, not margarine. The atmosphere is cosy and pleasant and the wait staff are friendly and efficient.

One of the best places around for a home cooked breakfast. The “Front Porch” used to be our go to breakfast place but not anymore since their food has gone downhill. What a wonderful place this is. The hometown feel , the service and of course the food is excellent! The prices are very reasonable and you get so much food. We always have to ask for a to go box. I have been told to try their ice cream. Everyone was Ravi g about it. So next visit we will go for lunch or maybe just stop for some ice cream and coffee and check that out. Also....the atmosphere is very pleasant. You do have some tourists there but mostly it’s citrus county people and each time we’ve gone we end up talking to the table or booth next to us, lol. Just a really great feel good , feel yummy place. Highly recommend.

Best and most reasonable prices for breakfast, especially the breakfast burrito. We go at least once a week for breakfast. Lunch, too, is very good. Great service and every effort is made to make you feel welcome and everything suits you.
